high-level meeting

On 26th September, 2018, the High-Level Meeting brought together refugee hosting states, donor governments, multilateral institutions, the private sector and civil society to agree how to accelerate and improve efforts to deliver quality education to refugees – meeting the promises made in the New York Declaration and Global Compact on Refugees.

Discussions focussed on three main pillars of inclusion, improvement, and investment, which when tackled will ensure that all 7.5 million refugee children are in schools and learning within a few months of displacement, providing them with stability, hope, and opportunity for their future.
